Free To Live Ministries Philosophy of Ministry

Vision:

To equip God's Children with all the tools and training they need to rise victoriously out of the ashes of a pornographic culture.

Paraphrased:

A ministry that helps anybody who struggles with pornography, sex, or any addiction, with all the training they need to be able to live out the reality of their freedom in Christ.

Core Belief's to Accomplish Vision:

(Based on Psalm 91:1, Galatians 5:1, John 8:32, and Hebrews 4)

• We believe that if a person knows who Jesus Christ is, and knows who they are in Christ, that they will be able to take authority over their body.
• We believe that that every Child of God is hard-wired by God, divinely-designed, for victory and to walk in the halls of freedom.
• Freedom in Christ equals resting in God by being an overcomer (Revelation 2-3).
• God does not birth losers. In Christ you work from a position of victory, not for one.
• The Word of God is the incorruptible seed, not an impotent one. If the Word is planted in good soil, the root system will naturally break the stronghold.
• The Holy Spirit's power, not the worship of willpower, is our source of strength.
• True life is only found in Jesus.

Mission:

(How we physically accomplish the vision)

• Specific training designed to communicate the gospel to anybody struggling with pornography.
• Through a Web-based ministry that has it's foundation as Christ.
• To come alongside the Church to offer training to all the people on how to help somebody struggling with sex addiction, or addiction of any kind.
• Through inter-denominational training seminars.
• To offer every resource we produce to everybody free of charge.
• Every resource we have ever created is downloadable and printable. Everything we have produced is copyrighted so that it will not be resold to anybody, because we never want finances to be an obstacle to truth and freedom in Christ.
• To work in the area of prevention by training kids and parents.
• We also accomplish this with our inter-denominational seminars, and we have networked our resources with other ministries to be able to offer free software, and a helpline.
• To create and offer resources to help children heal and live free if they have been a victim of under age exposure to pornography or molestation.
• We are working on a children's book for parents to read to their children, and a special G-rated set of free downloadable audio teachings designed to hold the interest of little ears.
• To work to create legislation to keep our kids safe online.
• Right now we are currently working on legislation.
• To proclaim God's Good News to people that have either fallen into sexual immorality, struggling with sex, or who have been sexually violated, how Christ can wash away all the guilt and shame, and completely heal and restore.
